Older Americans, as did some El Pasoans last week, must begin to insist political candidates promise a real fix to the high cost of the nation's health care.

Arizona AARP reminds residents that open enrollment for Medicare Part D will take place from Nov. 15 through Dec. 31. AARP has a new brochure: Medicare Drug Coverage: What You Need to Know that explains the Medicare drug benefit.

AARP offers driver safety program Nov. 29 (Muskogee Phoenix)
AARP will conduct a driver safety program from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 29 at its office, 1012 N. 38th St. An insurance discount will be given to those who complete the class. The cost is $10.
