Beaumont Health System is turning to the public to help it negotiate with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for higher reimbursement rates at its three hospitals.

Blue Cross Blue Shield issues refunds averaging $3 after $4.2 million severance pay for ex-CEO Killingsworth
Millions of state residents insured by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts have begun receiving refunds stemming from the health plan's decision to distribute to its members a total of about $4.2 million, an amount equivalent to the controversial severance paid to its former chief executive, Cleve L. Killingsworth.
