Blue Cross Blue Shield issues refunds averaging $3 after $4.2 million severance pay for ex-CEO Killingsworth
Millions of state residents insured by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts have begun receiving refunds stemming from the health plan's decision to distribute to its members a total of about $4.2 million, an amount equivalent to the controversial severance paid to its former chief executive, Cleve L. Killingsworth.
