Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan reports $222M gain
The earnings marked the second consecutive year that the Blues, Michigan's largest non-profit insurer, made money, despite $200 million in losses last year for its individually purchased policies for adults 19-64 and for its Medigap policies.
