Blue Cross , UNC Health ink new contract
Blue Cross and Blue Shield and the UNC Health Care System announced today that they've agreed on terms of a new contract, avoiding potential disruptions for patients.

Administrative expenses of Blue Cross Blue Shield plans fell to 9.2% of premiums and equivalents in 2010, compared with 9.7% in 2009 and 9.9% in 2007. The per member per month cost growth of 1.0% compared with 2.5% last year.
