Hearing set in Pontiac's lawsuit of Blue Cross Blue Shield, 23 hospitals
Federal District Judge Denise Page Hood set a June 7 hearing Tuesday on a motion by 23 Michigan hospitals to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the City of Pontiac against them and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. The Pontiac lawsuit charges that the hospitals went along with a plan to charge the highest prices to other insurers, while giving discounts to the Blues.
