The Department of Public Health and Social Services has announced that the annual enrollment period for Medicare's prescription drug program, nationally known as Medicare Part D, will be held from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, when beneficiaries may enroll in this voluntary prescription drug program or cancel their current plan if they are enrolled.
