Medicare open enrollment begins (Leavenworth Times)
Medicare s drug plan enrollment for seniors began on Wednesday, but the program is still not without problems. The plan known as Medicare Part D is being referred to by critics as Part D for disaster.

Medicare Part D enrollment now open (Fergus Falls Daily Journal)
The annual enrollment for Medicare Part D started Nov. 15 and runs through Dec. 31. It is recommended that people make changes, if needed, prior to Dec. 8. Others, whose plans are working effectively, can keep their current medication coverage plans.
