Pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) -- corporate middlemen who control pharmacy benefit plans -- are bilking community pharmacies through their practice of delaying payments of money owed to these health care providers, according to the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA).

SeniorCare, Wisconsins prescription drug assistance program, is set to expire June 30, 2007, unless an extension is granted.
