Retirees lobbied on Medicare proposal
The National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare is trying to drum up local opposition to a Republican plan to overhaul Medicare. A staffer for the Washington, D.C.-based group has been speaking about the proposal during visits this week to five retirement centers in Fort Wayne.
