Scouts to aid Medicare effort (The Republican)
jo-ann.moriarty @newhouse.comWASHINGTON - Springfield Boy Scouts will canvass city neighborhoods door to door next week as part of a mission to alert senior citizens about the upcoming open enrollment of the federal Medicare prescription drug program and also provide them with information about a subsidy available to low-income seniors to help pay for their medicines.
