Although the new enrollment period for Medicare Part D began Nov. 15 and will continue until Dec. 31, officials are encouraging all eligible seniors to switch plans or enroll in a new Medicare prescription drug plan by Dec. 8.

NEWARK -- The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program will have an OSHIIP Medicare and Part D Check-up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Licking County Aging Program, 745 N. Main St., Newark.
