Sorting out Medicare's parts and penalties (San Diego Union-Tribune)
Do I need to start Medicare Parts B and D when I turn 65? I will be 65 in January and currently have medical coverage from my previous employer, from whom I retired. Because the coverage is for hospital treatment, doctor visits and medications, do I need to sign up for Medicare Parts B and D when I sign up for Part A?
