UnitedHealth posts $1.2 billion net, lifted by Medicare business (Market Watch)
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- UnitedHealth Group Inc. on Thursday reported quarterly net income of $1.2 billion, helped by strength in its Medicare Part D business, but revenue came up shy of expectations as the company moved to put its options-backdating scandal behind it.
