Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette announced Friday he has requested a hearing into whether Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan should be allowed to raise rates for its supplemental Medicare plan, known as Medigap.

Attorney General Bill Schuette opposes rate hike for Blue Cross Medigap customers
Schuette has filed a petition against the increase.
