Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette announced Friday that his office will review Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan's pending purchase of a Philadelphia Medicaid firm with another Blues plan. "We have a responsibility to ensure this substantial transaction conforms to state law and is in the best interest of Blue Cross ratepayers and Michigan taxpayers," Schuette said.
