ND Blue Cross Dumps Plan to Cut Medical Payments (KQCD-TV Dickinson)
Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota says it won`t be cutting payments this year to hospitals and other medical providers. The Fargo health insurer had notified health care providers to prepare for cutting this year`s payments by 2.5 percent, starting August 1.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota is asking Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm for a public hearing on the company`s request for a rate increase. Last week, Hamm turned down the Blues` request for a 14.8 percent increase for a group of individual policyholders.
